Pop-Up Camper Winter Storage Tips
Many of our readers have expressed an interest in the proper way to store their pop-up, flip-over or other forms of tent campers for the winter. We would like to thank Livin' Lite RV for taking the time to email this open letter to all of our website visitors.
"For winter storage of the Quicksilver, we
recommend that owners remove their tent and

store it indoors in a Rubbermaid tote or similar
container. We designed the tent so it can be
easily un-velcroed and removed from the frame,
folded and stored away. This eliminates the
problems many campers experience with mice
chewing through the fabric or water penetrating
the unit and mildewing the tent material. It also
extends the life of the tent.
Beyond removing the tent, I'd recommend the
camper be stored in a dry place if possible. It
also wouldn't hurt if the owners opened the door
and peeked inside once a month just to be sure
everything looks OK.
The nice thing about the Quicksilver is that the

aluminum and composites we use in the
construction are very durable and weather proof.
Unlike wood, they won't rot, and units don't
experience the expansion and contraction that
wood does during cold seasons.
I think your owner will find his Quicksilver stores
nicely over the winter."
