Here is another great idea on low-cost closet control from the 10-Minute Tech Book

10-Minute Tech, The BookThe space saver that also helped to keep RVer Richard Clark’s things in order while on the road. The closet in the rear of his trailer runs parallel to the road, and when traveling, the hangers kept falling off or sliding into a wrinkled bunch. The solution was simple from Richard and can be simple for you. Purchased a 4-foot-wide, plastic-covered wire rack designed for closet organization from your local Home Deport type of store. They can usually be found for under $10. Then, cut it to loosely fit over the top of the clothes rod with the bent lip facing up to act as a retaining barrier for stored items such as towels, toilet paper, and other light stuff. The rack is fastened to the back of the closet wall with the clips included, but is not attached to the closet rod. It just rests on it. This allows one to lift the rack slightly to remove the clothes hangers, yet has enough weight to hold the hangers in place while under way. More time and money saving ideas can be found in the 10-Minute Tech Book from Trailer Life Books.
